Hand-poured from 100% pure Australian beeswax by Suz in Port Stephens, it burns on the same light spectrum as natural sunlight — the brightest, most natural light of any candle. As the flame burns down from the centre, the light shines outward through every scrolling motif on the outer wall — illuminating the entire design from within as the hours pass. A soft natural honey fragrance drifts through the room as it burns. No synthetic scents, no dyes, no chemical additives of any kind.

The lantern effect

As the Fleur de Lis Pillar burns down from the centre, the outer wall stays intact and the flame shines outward through every scrolling motif — each curl and flourish lit from within. The bold, open design of the scrollwork means the light shines through dramatically, creating a lantern effect that's visible from every angle and becomes more spectacular with every hour.

Did you know?

The Fleur de Lis has been a symbol of French royalty for centuries — and Napoleon himself used it on his imperial throne to establish his authority and right to rule. But here's the remarkable twist: when Napoleon moved into the Royal Palace at Tuileries, he couldn't allow the existing drapes — embroidered with the Fleur de Lis of the overthrown Bourbon monarchy — to remain. His solution? Turn them upside down. And the inverted Fleur de Lis looked exactly like a bee. From that moment, the bee became Napoleon's personal emblem — the symbol of his entire reign. So in a roundabout way, the very symbol on this candle is the reason the bee became one of the most enduring emblems in French history. And now here it is, hand-poured in pure Australian beeswax, in Port Stephens NSW. History is funny like that.

A note on colour

Beeswax colour varies naturally from batch to batch depending on the season and what the bees have been foraging on. This is completely normal and a sign of genuine, unbleached wax.

Candle burning tips

Burn for at least 2 hours on the first use to allow the melt pool to form properly. Trim the wick to around 5 mm before each burn. Keep out of drafts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Shipment processing time

Crystal (only) orders are processed and dispatched within 2-4 business days. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

Orders containing Candles will take up to 10 business days to be dispatched.  This is due to each candle being hand-made to order.   Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

If your order has a mixture of Crystals and Candles your order will be sent as a whole when the candles are ready for dispatch.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
