The honeycomb is the architecture of the hive — and it's stamped into every surface of this candle. The same hexagonal pattern found on the beeswax foundation sheets used to make hand-rolled candles is moulded right into the outside of this poured pillar, giving it that beautiful textured rolled look without the rolling. All the character of a hand-rolled beeswax candle, in a solid poured form.

Hand-poured from 100% pure Australian beeswax by Suz in Port Stephens, this candle burns on the same light spectrum as natural sunlight — the brightest, most natural light of any candle. As it burns, a soft natural honey fragrance fills the room. The colour varies naturally from batch to batch — from pale golden yellow through to deeper amber — every shade a sign of genuine, unbleached wax straight from NSW beekeepers.

Available in a small votive-sized version and a larger pillar — both covered in that gorgeous honeycomb texture from base to top. Stunning grouped together in matching or mixed sizes on a timber board, a dining table, or a mantelpiece.

Poured, not rolled — but you'd never know

This candle is hand-poured, not hand-rolled — but the honeycomb pattern moulded into the outside gives it all the charm and texture of a traditional rolled beeswax candle. If you love the look of hand-rolled candles but want the longer burn time and solid structure of a pillar, this is the one for you. Why the hexagon?

The hexagonal pattern on this candle is the same pattern bees build with inside the hive — every cell in a honeycomb is a perfect hexagon, the most structurally efficient shape in nature. The beeswax foundation sheets used in beekeeping are stamped with this pattern to give bees a head start when building their comb. It's a shape that goes all the way back to the source of the wax itself.

A note on colour

Beeswax colour varies naturally from batch to batch depending on the season and what the bees have been foraging on. This is completely normal and a sign of genuine, unbleached wax — and as you can see in the photo, different batches can look beautifully different side by side.

Candle burning tips

Burn for at least 2 hours on the first use to allow the melt pool to form properly. Trim the wick to around 5 mm before each burn. Keep out of drafts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

Shipment processing time

Crystal (only) orders are processed and dispatched within 2-4 business days. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

Orders containing Candles will take up to 10 business days to be dispatched.  This is due to each candle being hand-made to order.   Orders are not dispatched on weekends or Public Holidays.

If your order has a mixture of Crystals and Candles your order will be sent as a whole when the candles are ready for dispatch.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
